Natural Beauty of Wood
Pella’s exclusive EnduraGuard® wood protection is applied after the pieces have been cut and milled, but prior to final assembly. It provides advanced protection against the effects of moisture, decay, stains from mold and mildew – as well as termite damage. Wood-clad windows and patio doors are protected on the exterior with an EnduraClad aluminum cladding, which resists fading and will look great for years.
Strong & Durable Fiberglass
Pella® Impervia® products are made from our proprietary fiberglass material — the strongest material available for windows and patio doors, engineered for lasting durability.9 Our fiberglass material won't expand, contract or become brittle when exposed to environmental temperature swings, making it a great solution for any climate.
Easy-Care Vinyl
Pella’s unique vinyl formula has been performance-tested for excellent weathering, durability and color retention. Regardless of the weather, you won’t need to paint, stain or refinish your vinyl windows. Our vinyl windows are available with our exclusive energy-saving system, including triple-pane glass, frames with up to 18 insulating air chambers and optional foam insulation.

Air, Water and Structural Chamber Testing
We have designed several testing chambers to specifically test for air, water and structural performance. There are a separate set of conditions for each of these tests, and our testing simulates both positive and negative wind loads. We perform this test to make sure our windows and doors can stand up to intense wind and rain.
Accelerated Environmental Testing
We test samples of materials and products by exposing our products to a variety of simulated environmental conditions to evaluate long-term performance. This test helps ensure the long-term performance and beauty of your products in a variety weather conditions.
Insulating Glass Testing
To test how our sealants perform, glass is placed inside a chamber at 140ºF with 100% humidity. It is then moved into another chamber that simulates ultraviolet radiation, then back again. This test shows us how a sealant will last when it is in direct sunlight, humidity and heat.
